Elyada Merioz - (1932 - 2004)

Elyada Merioz was the first Jewish person to settle in the old city of Jerusalem after the  six-day-war when the city was reunited.  Mr. Merioz founded The Old City Museum - depicting the remains of the old Jewish quarter of Jerusalem, and combined Art with Judaica and Archeology in what later became The Blue and White Art Gallery
